Customer satisfaction is more important now than ever before. Customer experience is key. Intuit are in the midst of a dramatic transformation, repositioning their customer experience as their number one priority to deliver breakthrough innovations.
The rapid transformation is crucial for Intuit to hold its pole position in the ultra-competitive fin-tech race against disruptive start-ups, evolving from a decentralised, reactive function to a product and experience-driven organisation.
One of the most difficult problems which business executives face is employee resistance to change. Our objective is to help Intuit to communicate their customer success stories and change employee mindsets.
With over 9,000 employees working from offices all around the United States and the world, it is crucial to ensure the transformations are articulated clearly throughout the whole organisation.
Microsite, Campaign Videos, Communication Design - Print and Digital
We created a vision for the future that captures the unique, life-changing experience the transformation provides Intuit’s employees, as well as its 50 million customers served globally. ‘Experience Extraordinary’ is an idea that translates to devoted innovation, self-determination, and fearless thinking in the pursuit of Intuit’s ongoing mission to power prosperity around the world.
Rather than putting together isolated communication components, we designed a bold and insightful strategy alongside a multi-layered creative network of branded assets that worked as a system to hit the desired touch points. The content ecosystem included on-site and digital signage, All-Hands event brand activation, a fit-for-purpose 'Experience Extraordinary' website, employee swag packs, a definitive brand commercial and a short-film series of eleven mini-stories.
My role as the UX designer was to create a design system that translated client business requirements, user needs, technical requirements into designs that are visually enticing, easy to use, and emotionally engaging. I collaborated with a cross-functional team that includes internal and external stakeholders such as brand managers, developers, copywriters, and designers.

Environmental Design
In 2019, Intuit launched Prosperity Hubs, an initiative created to bring full-time jobs, vocational training, and education resources to communities in need.
The first of these was in Bluefield, West Virginia in September 2019, creating up to 500 jobs. The innovation lab part of the Prosperity Hub goes beyond that and is designed to spark economic prosperity in regional communities as well as provide remote job opportunities for communities in need.
My role as the creative lead for this environmental design project was to ensure Intuit's brand and visions were injected into the empty office space and to transform it into an inspiring place to work. The project was done remotely so we collaborated with the client and stakeholders who were on-site to ensure the success of the transformation.
The vibrant energetic space visually captures Intuit’s enthusiastic efforts to breathe life back into a community doing it tough.
The foundations for rapid organisational transformation have been laid. The newly defined culture has unleashed optimism and belief in the organisation’s mission, providing meaning and purpose.
People can more easily visualise themselves playing a crucial role in the company’s success. Carrying in their minds a clear illustration of the future state and what it means for them as they forge onwards.
